Welcome to NutraSmart’s HCG blog. This site is designed to help make anyone who is interested in the HCG diet protocol to have a more enjoyable and successful experience. I have been on the protocol twice with great success; once following the protocol exactly, and the other throwing in a couple of variables that took into consideration that Simeon’s protocol is over 50 years old and could benefit from some modern food sources.
Above are two pictures of me, one at 285 lbs. (I would later hit 320) and one at my current weight of 200. After losing 70 lbs. on a very good program called Vital Behaviors Diet and Health I tried two sessions of HCG, losing an additional 50 lbs.
I will admit that the lifestyle changes I made on the Vital Behaviors program really helped with the HCG. I can’t imagine going in cold. On my second round of HCG I tried a variation with the HCG Shake that I asked my friend to develop especially around the HCG protocol (he is in the health shake business). What he came up with is phenomenal! Not only is it a really tasty chocolate shake, (It is so good, I sip it) it only has 2 fats, 1 net carb, 7 grams of fiber, 22 grams of protein and 50% of 23 vitamins and minerals. And for you women, 165% of Folic Acid. Adding this to my diet did not slow down my weight loss at all; in fact I think it helped. It made the program so much easier. Plus I felt that I was getting all of my vitamins and fiber this way.
I am now beginning another round of HCG. I am going to make the HCG Shake an even bigger part of my regimen this time and let you know how it goes. Why don’t you pick up one or two shakes and join me.
